ANSI Bulbs

We refer to the light bulbs in this category as "ANSI coded" due to the three-letter designation of each bulb. That ANSI code indicates the standard to which the bulb was manufactured, and usually includes specifications like bulb shape, base, wattage, and voltage. It is a handy shortcut to finding a replacement bulb. We have an article going into more depth on ANSI bulbs.
