Intellego Technologies is proud to introduce its latest innovation in colorimetric UV indicator technology. The Personal UVC Exposure Indicator is designed for individuals who are working with or in close proximity to UV-C equipment. The yellow indicator will change color when exposed to an accumulated dose of UV-C (254 nm), revealing the word STOP when 6 mJ/cm² of irradiation has been reached.

According to the American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), the Threshold Limit Value (TLV) for UV-C is 6 mJ/cm², as indicated in the Documentation of the Threshold Limit Values and Biological Exposure Indices, 8th Edition, Copyright 2020.

How It Works

The UVC indicator changes color to reveal the word STOP when exposed to an accumulated dose of UV-C (254 nm) of 6 mJ/cm², which is the Threshold Limit Value® for safe occupational exposure.

The Personal UVC Exposure Indicators feature an adhesive backing and can be placed on an ID badge, uniform garment or Protective Personal Equipment (PPE).

This product is intended for indoor-use only by individuals who are working in proximity to UV-C devices emitting 254 nm.
