LED Retrofit Kits

LED retrofit kits are used to retrofit an incandescent, halogen, fluorescent, or high-intensity discharge fixture to an LED array. This type of retrofit is generally considered the better option comapred to using an LED light bulb for the retrofit. LED fixture retrofit kits come with an internal or external driver, so the existing ballast does not need to be bypassed or taken into account for compatibility. These products often come with longer rated life than standard LED retrofit bulbs, as well as better themal management. They are a bigger investment initially than bulbs, but pay off in longer life and lower maintenance costs.
