The Larson Electronics IND-TML-ADL-R1-3XF-12X-GPG.4K-V1 Grass Cleaning UV Disinfection Cart cleans, sanitizes and removes moisture from sports fields, golf courses, professional turfs (fake grass) and stadiums. This 390-watt unit features three, UVC fixtures with four, 4-foot UVC fluorescent lamps each. Powered by a gasoline generator, the mobile system can be deployed with UTV equipment.

*Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria.

The IND-TML-ADL-R1-3XF-12X-GPG.4K-V1 is a fluorescent-based UV grass cleaning solution for sports fields. Consisting of three UV fixtures with four, 4-foot fluorescent UV lamps each, the 390-watt unit offers UVC output with a wavelength range of 200nm to 280nm (wavelength of 254 nm). The UV fixtures operate on 120-277V AC, 50/60 Hz (ballast voltage) and feature a G13 medium bi-pin cap base. These UV lamps offer an 8,000-hour useful lifespan and are secured on adjustable hinged arms. All lamps are protected by a stainless steel metal wire guard to prevent damage from impact and contact. The UV light's housing is constructed of 304 stainless steel, with zinc-coated hubs. One lighting ballast per fixture is located in a gasketed ballast enclosure at the back of the units.

Operation: To use the UV sanitation system, operators must first connect the unit to a UTV, such as a golf cart, mule, tractor, etc., via a 3" pintle hitch or 2" ball hitch (please choose your preferred hitch when ordering). Next, the lamps are lowered to 90 degrees using a manual crank winch for each fixture. The fixtures must be locked into place with a retaining pin to ensure secure operation (minimizes shaking and movement). A safety position switch prevents the lamps from turning on before reaching the full 90-degree position, which protects the operator from UV exposure. The system is powered by the gasoline generator on the cart (we offer battery-powered and diesel generator powered models at an additional cost). Operators may activate the lamps via an accessible control panel at the front of the trailer. Indicator lights per fixture notifies the operator about the status of the lamps.

Gas Generator: The UV fixtures on the cart are powered by a gasoline generator. This generator consists of a 7.0 horsepower, air cooled overhead engine with an EZ-pull recoil start that runs on gas, which is capable of cranking out 3,300 watts of constant running power at a peak of 4,000 watts. The fuel tank also includes an easily readable fuel gauge. This portable generator features a variety of receptacles, including two fully protected 120 Volt, 20 Amp, 60 Hz NEMA 5-20R outlets and one 120 Volt, 30 Amp, 60 Hz-NEMA L5-30 twist-lock outlet.

This heavy-duty generator has many features including a 4-gallon fuel tank, which provides 8 hours of reliable power at half load. This gas powered genset features low-oil shut off safeguards, which help to protect the engine from low-oil damage, while an integrated circuit breaker protects against system overload. The generator also features a spark arrester to prevent flammable debris from expelling from the generator by trapping and destroying them. This protects against potential fires that may occur during operation, allowing this unit to be used safely in outdoor areas and potentially hazardous applications such as disaster zones where remote power is needed. An automatic voltage regulator helps to produce cleaner power and keeps it EPA approved.

A heavy-duty steel frame with four-point fully isolated motor mounts house the engine and a quiet exhaust reduces engine noise for quiet operation. This generator features an accessible, full power panel that houses the power controls including an oil warning light, the circuit breaker, the start-switch, the volt meter and the power outlets, for easy operation.

Cart: All systems components are secured to a portable cart with wheels for mobility around the site. A tough powder coat finish on the base provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base is fitted with four solid wheels to allow easy positioning. This cart must be connected to UTV equipment (not included), such as a golf cart, mule, tractor, etc., via a 3" pintle hitch or a 2" ball hitch.

Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation. UV radiation from the unit can damage the skin and eyes without proper protection. Operators should avoid exposure to the eyes and skin when the unit is unshielded (for use in enclosed environments only). In the event of lamp breakage, it is recommended to ventilate the room for 30 minutes and clean the area with gloves (not a vacuum cleaner). Contents should be stored in a sealed plastic bag and brought to a waste/recycling facility.
