Ushio 5000089 MHL-250 - Medium Pressure Metal Halide - 250W - RSC Base - 68mm

This product is an Ushio 5000089 MHL-250 medium pressure metal halide lamp. It uses 250 watts and has a RSC base. The spectral range of this lamp is 300-450nm.

Ushio MHL series metal halide lamps contain mercury, scandium and various other metal halogens in an inner bulb that produces a very high light output. As the high temperature of the arc discharge excites the halogenides to evaporate and separate into atoms, the metallic atoms illuminate and release the predetermined target ultraviolet wavelength. The mercury line of 365 nanometers remains present, and although depressed in strength, the combination of these halogenides effect the required ultraviolet wavelengths required for photopolymer, multi-spectrum and diazo processing applications.

Medium pressure, metal-halide lamps used in a variety of industries including ultraviolet UV curing, printed circuit board and photolithography exposure, and industrial graphic arts processing applications.
