Atlantic UV Thermal Optimizer - Complete 110° Open, 100° Close - 300 PSI

This product is an Atlantic Ultraviolet 27-1106 Thermal Optimizer: Complete 110° Open, 100° Close, 303 SST.

The QUANTUM™ Thermal Optimizer thermal relief valve is used to help maintain water temperature where there is a possibility that the water purifier would be cut off from flow for extended periods of time. The QUANTUM™ Thermal Optimizer senses the temperature of the water inside the disinfection chamber. When the temperature of the water reaches approximately 110°F the valve will open, allowing water to be drained from the system. As water is drained, cooler feedwater is mixed with water in the disinfection chamber, lowering the temperature in the chamber. When the water temperature drops below approximately 100°F, the QUANTUM™ Thermal Optimizer will close reducing the amount of water drained from the purifier.
